soooo my phone decided it wanted to have its own firework show: 
my iphones home screen was going crazy, it went from blue to pink to purple. i took it to att where obviously the guy helped so much, he took the phone from me plugged it into his computer and says to me “uhhh was this off when you gave it to me?” i says no! and he goes “ohh uhhh well i think you should call apple you seem to have a problem, the points me to the door.”
at this point now the screen is just black/

so i get home call apple
on the phone with them for almost 2 hours 
literally they were just transferring me from person to person, they weren’t even talking to each other. so i had to reexplain myself so many times.

ugh.

THEN one person finally tells me i have to go to the apple store and makes me an appointment 

i go and wooo i get a new iphone 
but wait 2 months ago when i got my replacement phone i told att to change my apple id 

they obviously didnt 
so now i cant access anything on my phone
so now i have been on hold since 10.


i have been doing this nonsense since 6 and it is now 1115!! 

i hate att

i hate apple
someone fix my phone!

So my mom and I have been working the same waitress job for 5-6 years now. She had been waitressing years before, but this is recently. Anyway, about… 15 minutes ago this guy she waited on left and told her to take care. Just that. Prior to this she had talked to him about Italy. Her people are from Florence, this and that, and she said she’s never been. She’s got 8 years of art education and she’s working a waitress job. It’s pretty… Sad and disappointing, I guess. Her and my father divorced 6 years ago and she hasn’t had a real job ever. Just been stuck in a small town she’s not from.

This man who we have never seen before tipped her 1000 dollars for a trip to Italy. Walked out, not another word.

…you know. Just when I start to lose faith in humanity….Hm.

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the “half empty or half full” question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: “How heavy is this glass of water?”

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it’s not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.” She continued, “The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything.”

It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses. As early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don’t carry them through the evening and into the night. Remember to put the glass down!

I think this just changed my life.

And this is why Psychology is my major.
